I spent 25 days trekking in Nepal, Kanchenjunga Trek. Kanchenjunga is the third tallest mountain and is considered to be one of the most beautiful mountain massifs in the world.
The name Kanchenjunga means “Five Treasures of the Great Snow” which is in reference to the five summits that make up Kanchenjunga.
An unforgettable journey into the heart of the Himalaya where the scale of both mountain and valley is difficult to comprehend. The peaks are visible in the distance for days, floating like ships on a distant sea. Kanchenjunga is classed as a demanding trek due to its remoteness and altitude.
Previously camping only, there are now more affordable teahouses routes that take you past stunning Himalayan vistas, ancient forests, prime wildlife habitat, and into the heart of traditional cultures and communities.
